Back in September, I was poring over craigslist, looking for a wedding photographer with the following qualities:
Five stars all around for excellent customer service and photography!
I contacted them two days prior to my shoot, and they were able to book me given the circumstances. I gave them a few samples of what I had in mind, and they were able to execute my vision into a reality! The lighting and angles were absolutely on point! In addition to that, they had quick turnaround time - I was able to view all pictures the very next day!

Herrick and Ed did a perfect job taking photos for my wedding. They were very creative with using the environment to make the pictures look great. Periodically they would show us the pictures they would take on their camera and they would look so good. They were so patient and kind to us and our family. At one point, Ed even gave me his nice vest to sit on for one of the poses (awww so sweet!) so I wouldn't mess up my white wedding dress. They did great with trying to get the young kids' attentions who were being fussy.
H2 Photography (Herrick Hu & Ed Tran) helped my company with our product-in-use photos, and did a fantastic job! My boss and coworkers were satisfied with the results. A photo from this set will be featured on a banner in about 500 Lowe's Home Improvement stores for our line of products. Woohoo!
I can positively state that I got some of the best pictures for my modeling portfolio from H2 Photography.
Luckily for me, Herrick was up for collaborating on a shoot. Throughout the entire time, he was completely friendly, empathetic and polite. Not once did I feel uncomfortable, or like I was being forced to do something I did not agree with. He's wonderfully organized, and has a lot of his own ideas, which definitely helped me a lot. Most importantly, I believe it was his empathy that made him one of my favorite photographers I've shot with; he treats you like a real person.
